About Us

Affinity (Reading) Ltd is a consortium which comprising of Abri and Southern Housing.

Affinity (Reading) Ltd was appointed in 2024 by Reading Borough Council to refurbish, manage, and maintain 1,371 homes in the North Whitley Estate under a Private Finance Initiative.

To deliver the services, Affinity awarded two separate operational contracts. The first was to Wates who are responsible for repairs, maintenance, and compliance in your home. Affinity Housing, a partnership between Abri and Southern Housing was appointed to deliver housing management services which includes tenancy management, income collection, anti-social behaviour.

Wates and Affinity Housing work closely together to deliver a range of services with the vision of creating safe communities and a home for residents they’re proud to live in.
