Affinity (Reading) Limited, the Special Purchase Vehicle, has a Board of Directors who have overall responsibility for the successful management and operations of the PFI contract with the Council. The four Directors who currently sit on the SPV Board are:
 Andrew Newberry - Radian -Director of Finance Andrew Newberry qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1979, whilst working for an international practice in England. After two years further experience with them in Africa, he returned to England and moved into commerce. This gave him experience at a senior level in a range of activities including construction, property development, property maintenance manufacturing and leasing. Andrew joined Swaythling Housing Society Limited, as Director of Finance in 1996, taking responsibility for finance, IT and company secretary matters and became Director of Finance of Radian Group at its inception. Andrew joined the Affinity Board in January 2011.  Diana MacLean - Director of Housing, Radian West Diana is Head of Region (West) at Radian, responsible for housing services across the Thames and Avon areas of the group. She moved to the South East from Scotland in 2009. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing, with an MSc in housing, she has worked in housing for over ten years holding various senior posts within stock transfer and national housing associations in housing management, policy, performance and business strategy. She was also Strategic Housing lead for New Forest District Council before joining Radian in 2010. She is currently Secretary of the SE branch of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has also been member of a housing association board. Diana joined the Affinity Board in January 2011. |
Paul Smith - Southern Housing Group Operations Director Paul joined the group in 1987 and is an experienced housing professional with 30 years' experience in the RSL and local authority sectors. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Housing and an associate member of the Institute of Administrative Management. Paul joined the Affinity Board in January 2011.
